ATA(iAN-02EX)

UTStarcom iAN-02EX UTStarcom's iAN-02EX is a VoIP Analog Terminal Adaptor (ATA) that enables the interconnection of legacy analog phones/faxes to broadband networks. It is designed for networks served by a variety of Call Agents and UTStarcom's state of the art mSwitch Soft switch platform. The iAN-02EX allows customers to realize next-generation, standards-based Voice-over-IP (VoIP) communications without replacing their existing phone equipment.

Designed for enterprise, small office and residential applications, the iAN-02EX is a cost-effective solution that dramatically extends analog equipment functionality, thereby protecting customer investments. It has two FXS voice ports, each supporting a separate, independent phone number. Call control is provided via SIP (RFC 3261, 3262), MGCP, and H.323.

UTStarcom’s iAN-08E™ Series VoIP Gateway enables the interconnection of legacy analog phones with voice-enabled broadband networks. Designed for networks served by UTStarcom’s softswitch platform, mSwitch™ and other popular Call Agents, the iAN-08E™ Series essentially allows customers to realize next-generation, standards-based Voice-over-IP (VoIP) communications without replacing their existing phone equipment.

UTStarcom iAN-08E™ Series Product is specially designed for enterprises, regional offices, hotels, campuses, and apartment buildings. The call control is provided via Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) or Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).

UTStarcom iAN-08E™ Series Product portfolio is divided in 3 variants namely, iAN-04E, iAN-08E8, iAN-08E16 /iAN-08E32 and use the same software platform. The iAN-08E™ Series design offers a flexible, cost-effective solution that dramatically extends analog equipment functionality, thereby protecting customer investments.

Voice Features:
Supplementary features: Call hold, Call waiting, Call Transfer, 3 way call conference, Call forward (always, busy, no answer), Speed Dial, Polarity reversal, Distinctive rings, Fax, Caller ID, Caller ID blocking (via RFC 3323 and 3325), Voice-mail notification, internal phone book and Digitmap, configurable hook-flash timing.

Data Features:
Advanced Routing, Gateway/Bridge mode features, PPPoE Features, Static or Dynamic using DHCP client, Configurable DHCP Free IP range for LAN interface, Dynamic DNS, NAT and STUN.

Management and Provisioning:
Remote software upgrade and configuration upload/download via TFTP, Telnet/Craft CLI, EMS (Element Management System) based on SNMP trap, Username and Password Authentication, Advanced MGCP/SIP Authentication, and debug capability.
