is an external ADSL modem with integrated Wireless Local
Area
Network
(WLAN), that provides advanced routing and gateway functionality,
allowing multiple users to simultaneously share a broadband
connection. Designed for residential, small LAN and SOHO
applications, the WA3002-S delivers both full-rate ADSL
(8 Mbps downstream / 1 Mbps upstream) and G.lite (1.5
Mbps downstream / 512 Kbps upstream).
The WA3002-S provides WiFi-compliant, WLAN (IEEE 802.11b)
which enables data connectivity rates of up to 11Mbps and
features 64/128-bit WEP key encryption as well as SSID
and MAC address filtering. Additional security capabilities
include NAT, port filtering, and IP filtering.
Network-based configuration and management are enabled
via Telnet and Web browser. The device also supports remote
management via SNMP v1 and MIB II (RFC 1213).
